An extra virgin olive oil made by pressing fresh olives with chili, before the oil is allowed to infuse further to enhance the flavor. The result is an intense and warm oil with a clear hint of chili and the freshness of freshly harvested olives. At the Ursini family in Abruzzo, olive trees grow side by side with aromatic plants such as chili, lemon and basil – and it is precisely this proximity that gives the oil its characteristic expression.
