Description
This dark and rich balsamic vinegar from Modena is made using traditional methods with 80% cooked grape must and 20% wine vinegar, with no added sugar, caramel or colouring. It is aged for a full 12 years in wooden barrels – a process that gives the balsamic a thicker consistency, deeper aroma and a round, natural sweetness.
The long aging period makes the flavor more complex and intense, with notes of dried fruit, wood and a hint of acidity that balances it all. This is a balsamic that you will happily drizzle right onto your plate – as a flavor element in itself.
